Joy Lewis has been in ministry for thirty-two years. Twenty eight of those years she served alongside her husband, Shane Lewis, who was a pastor. The Lord called Pastor Lewis home in 2020 after a battle with leukemia. They were blessed with five children, and Joy now enjoys being “Momma J” to their grandsons. She is a writer, speaker, piano teacher, and mentor. She also hosts Hope Retreats for pastors’ wives. All of this is part of her ministry called Only God Ministries. She has recorded a piano album called “Only God” and is currently writing a book called “Lessons for Life”. Some of her favorite things are Alabama football, Coca-Cola, flip flops, Andy Griffith, old westerns, and golden retrievers. She enjoys her small town living, relaxing by the Tennessee River, traveling anywhere, and spending time with family. Joy is a member of Temple Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama, where she serves as an administrative assistant and as one of the church pianists. Her greatest desires are to love her family and serve in ministry wherever the Lord leads.
