Timothy Choi planted Bible Baptist Church in Gardena, California in 1987. He trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour in 1976. He served as a deacon at the Bible Baptist Church in Seoul, Korea, where he received training and a growing burden for the things of God. Pastor Choi has seen a fruitful ministry in the south bay region, as each week the church ministers to people of multiple backgrounds and ethnicities. Pastor Choi is married to Cherry and has two sons.
